Daniele Milvio and Emil Michael Klein, with the Federico Vavassori Gallery in Milan, will be taking over the concept store BARNES Valbonne to present some of their emblematic works.
For Daniele Milvio, an Italian graduate of the Milan Fine Arts Academy, the history of humanity holds a fascination. His works take us to the heart of human anatomy seen from his own perspective, with a liberal interpretation of a tooth. This series draws on a Dali-style surrealist approach midway between painting and sculpture, in relief.
Emil Michael Klein, a German artist living and working in Switzerland, meanwhile, will be unveiling two canvas paintings in tribute to the work that goes on in an artist’s studio. The repentance that he expresses through his work demonstrates his desire and his constant efforts to achieve a perfect piece, even though this search opens up an endless horizon.
