BARNES is a supporter of art, and photography in particular. As part of this undertaking, recently confirmed by a partnership with Paris Photo, BARNES Rive Gauche exhibited photos by Italian artist Angela Lo Priore from 15 March. The exhibition EatMe & Celebrities showcased the most stunning snapshots from her work on the relationship between women and food and black and white portraits of celebrities.
Angela Lo Priore is a prominent Italian photographer. A graduate in literature from the Università La Sapienza and the European Institute of Design, she is one of the rare women in photography. She has made a name for herself through the unique talent and solar energy that have made her so popular worldwide. Angela looks at portrait art and art photography through the prism of two passions: cinema and female nudes.
In 2006, she established herself at the first International Film Festival in Rome for her black and white portraits that captured and beautified the faces of celebrities, then through her personal work on nudes with Manichini/Mannequins (2012) and EatMe (2015). Her photos are published with the luxury publishing house Skira. Angela Lo Priore presented an exhibition at Paris Photo 2018.
